Sawasdee is the traditional Thai greeting meaning “Welcome”. The Sawasdee Lady is found in many Thai homes and places of business. They are placed near the front door to welcome guests. The native wood pieces are hand sculpted and painted. Many are adorned with green, blue, or red, inlaid stained glass.
