Sawasdee is the traditional Thai greeting meaning “Welcome”. The Sawasdee Lady or Boy is found at the entrance of many Thai homes or places of business. Placed near the front door to welcome guests as a gesture of respect. The native wood pieces are hand sculpted and painted. Many are adorned with green, blue, or red, inlaid stained glass to enhance their beauty.
