Painted Wood Elephant Block Calendar, 10 Inches Tall

This painted wood calendar stands 10 inches tall and 7 inches long. A blue elephant with a curled trunk and a dark eye sits on an aqua base, and below it wooden blocks turn to show the date and the month, as the photo shows. The listing says the calendar comes from Indonesia.

Change the blocks each day to keep the date. The elephant is Thailand's national animal and a favorite subject for gifts, which makes this a lively desk piece. Set it on a flat surface and wipe the paint with a dry cloth, because water can lift the color.

Naree added it to her desk picks on Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
