Emerald Buddha Statue Replica, Summer Attire, 11 Inches Tall

This cast resin replica of the Emerald Buddha is 11 inches tall and shown in its summer attire. The figure is a translucent green seated Buddha with a gold crown and gold ornaments, on a stepped base in gold and silver glitter finish with red trim.

The original Emerald Buddha is carved from a single piece of green jadeite, not emerald, and is kept at Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, where it is the most revered Buddha image in Thailand. Its clothing is changed by the king three times a year, for the hot, rainy and cool seasons, and this replica shows the gold summer attire.
