Gold-Painted Wood Star Decoration, 10 x 10 Inches

This handcrafted star is made of light wood and finished in gold paint, and it measures 10 by 10 inches. Each of the five points is beveled along a center ridge, so the light catches the facets and the gold looks brighter on one side than the other. The finish is smooth with a soft metallic shine.

Gold is everywhere in Thai decoration, from temple trim to festival lanterns, and a simple gold star fits right in during holiday seasons such as Christmas and the New Year. Hang it on a wall or a door, stand it on a shelf, or use it in a table display. Keep it dry and dust it gently.

It is one of Naree's picks for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
