Carved Wood Wall Hanging of a Lady's Face with Dark Gold Wings, 9 x 9 Inches

This skillfully crafted wood wall hanging shows the face of a lady framed by a pair of wings. The face is carved and painted in soft peach tones, with dark hair, painted eyes and a small red mouth. The wings are carved as layered leaves finished in dark brown with gold highlights. The piece is 9 inches wide and 9 inches tall.

Carved heads and busts are a familiar craft in Southeast Asia, and the wings give this one a whimsical, decorative touch. It suits a small wall, a stairwell or a shelf corner. Hang it on a sturdy hook, dust it with a soft brush and keep it away from damp so the paint and gold stay in good condition.
