Hand-Crafted Bamboo Wind Chime, Honey and Reddish Brown, 28 Inches Long

This bamboo wind chime is 28 inches long overall. A honey-colored bar at the top holds three tall tubes in a deep reddish brown, with two cross bars lashed between them and two small wooden pieces hanging below. The tubes knock together in a breeze and give a soft, hollow sound that carries gently across a yard.

Bamboo is part of daily life across Thailand and Laos, where it is used for fences, baskets, food and instruments. Hang the chime on a porch, a patio or in a garden under cover. Bring it in during storms, since constant wet will weaken the cord and the bamboo.

Naree picked it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
