Hand-Carved Wood Mask with Bearded Face, Dark Red-Brown, 11 Inches Tall

This hand-carved wooden mask stands 11 inches tall. The face is framed by a long, flowing beard carved in dark lines, with a high forehead, cut-out eyes and a crest of pointed shapes along the top. The wood has a deep red-brown finish that gives the carved features strong shadows when it hangs on a wall.

The mask is made of solid wood in the style of masks from the islands of the Pacific. Carved faces like this sit comfortably in a den, an entry hall or a collection of wall art. Hang it from a secure hook, dust it with a soft brush and keep it away from damp so the wood does not swell.
