A flat porcelain plate about 8 inches across, painted in Thailand’s Benjarong style. Color bands—red, blue, green, yellow, and gold-tone line—cover the well and rim. Where the listing notes 18k gold accents, those highlights are real gold decoration on the glaze, not a solid-gold plate.

Benjarong began as court porcelain: white ware dressed in several fired colors and tight Thai floral or flame borders. An 8-inch plate is the everyday size for a single course, fruit, or sweets, and it also stands on a plate rail or in a cabinet as a small picture.

Printed souvenir plates copy the palette and lose the edge. Painted Benjarong keeps a slightly raised line and a brighter gold-tone rim that cheap transfers do not.
