Sitting Black Chicken Figurine, 4 Inches Tall

This sitting black chicken stands 4 inches tall and sits on a shelf or table top. The photos show a painted figure with a black body, an orange-gold chest, a red comb and wattle, small gold dots like buttons, and orange feet.

Chickens and roosters are familiar village animals in Thailand and Laos, and rooster and chicken figures are a common subject in Southeast Asian folk crafts. This one is small enough for a bookshelf, a desk or a kitchen windowsill.

It is sold individually and is part of Naree's picks at Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
