Round Blue Wood Box with Red Gecko on Lid, Crackle Finish, 11 Inches Wide

This handcrafted round box is made of wood, 11 inches across and 3 inches deep. The lid has a blue crackle finish, with a red gecko spotted in orange and outlined in gold crossing the top, and a maroon band runs around the side. The finish is hand applied, so the crackle varies from box to box.

Geckos are a familiar sight on the walls of Thai and Lao homes, where their calls are heard in the evening, and they are a favorite motif on craft boxes. Use it for keepsakes, cards, jewelry or small tools on a desk. Wipe with a dry cloth and keep it out of damp.

Naree chose it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
