This small cast bronze Buddha is 6 inches tall and shown seated in meditation with both hands resting in the lap. The photos show a gold-bronze finish on a stepped base, with a small tag tied at the front. The listing says it was made in Thailand by the lost wax method.
In the Thai weekday tradition the seated meditation pose is the Thursday image, and many people keep the Buddha for the day they were born near a window shelf or on a home altar. Its small size also fits a desk, a bookshelf or a travel altar.
