Multi-Color Wooden Rooster on Green Base, Brown and Grey, 12 Inches Tall

This multi-colored wooden rooster is 12 inches tall and stands on a small green base. The body is a soft brown with grey tones across the wings and tail, the comb and wattle are bright red, and the beak and feet are orange. The painted finish is lightly worn, which gives it a folk-art look.

Roosters mark the start of the day in Thai and Lao villages, and carved ones are a favorite subject in craft markets. This one is large enough to stand on a kitchen counter, a sideboard or a hearth. Dust with a dry cloth and keep it out of damp and strong sun.

Naree chose it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
