These altar decorations are artificial lotus blooms with green leaves, set in a small pot, and they are offered in red, yellow and pink. The photos show a cluster of pointed petals with shimmering accents, and the listing notes that they are sold as a pair.
The lotus is the flower most often placed before a Buddha image in Thailand and Laos, because it rises clean from muddy water. Fresh lotus wilts within a day, so an artificial one lets a home altar or a shop shrine keep a bloom in place all week, and it needs no water.
