Buddhist Altar Decoration with Flowers and Leaf Fans, 40 Inches Tall

This tall altar decoration stands 40 inches high and is made in Thailand. The listing says the flowers are paper, in orange and white, on an aluminum base in chrome or gold. In the photo the piece rises in tiers: yellow flowers, folded green leaf fans, strings of white beads and a pointed gold tip, all on a shiny pedestal.

Arrangements of this kind are made for Buddhist ceremonies, including the ordination of a new monk, and are set on a table or altar beside the Buddha image. The paper and leaf work is light, so one person can place it. Keep it dry and out of direct sun so that the color lasts.
