Buddhist Ceremonial Candles, 8 Inches, Set of 2

This set holds two wax candles, each 8 inches long, packed in a narrow box printed in yellow and red with Thai lettering and an image of flames. They are made in Thailand for use in Buddhist ceremonies and on home altars.

In Thai and Lao temples, candles are lit with incense and flowers when people make an offering, and they are a standard part of the three-piece set presented at the altar. A pair of slim candles of this length fits a small shrine shelf or a tray of offerings for a merit-making day.

Naree includes them in her picks on Uniquely Thai Lao TV. Burn them only under supervision and away from anything that can catch fire.
