Carved Wood Buddha Head with Gold Crown and Lacquer Finish, 13 Inches Tall

This Buddha head is carved from solid wood in a Thai village and stands 13 inches tall. The face has a dark, speckled lacquer finish with a quiet expression, and the crown is gold with a band of green stones. The listing describes it as sitting on a stand, and the photo shows it resting on two small feet at the base.

Buddha heads are a familiar feature in Thai and Lao homes, where they sit on shelves, tables and entry consoles. The title of the older listing called it a wall accent, but the description and photos describe a free-standing head, and we have followed those. Dust it with a soft cloth and keep it away from damp walls.
