Cast Bronze Dachshund Candle Holder with Three Cups, 12 Inches Long, 11 Inches Tall

This hand-crafted candle holder is cast in bronze in the shape of a long-bodied dachshund, with three candle cups rising on slender posts from its back. Overall it is 12 inches long and 11 inches tall. The metal is a dark, aged tone, and the floppy ears and short legs are easy to recognize from across the room.

Bronze casting has a long history in Thailand and Laos, and metal animals are a favorite at craft markets. It is made for a dinner table, a sideboard or a mantel. Use candles that fit the cups, keep them away from curtains, never leave flames unattended, and wipe the metal with a dry cloth when cool.

Naree chose it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
