Painted Wood Sleeping Children Bookends, Boy and Girl Set

This hand-crafted set is made of solid wood and includes a boy and a girl, each shown sleeping on a pillow of folded arms. The skin is painted a warm golden brown, the clothes are bright red, and each child rests on a dark teal cushion. The pair faces inward, which makes them natural bookends.

They can hold up a few books on a shelf or sit on a desk or nightstand as small accent pieces. Hand-painted wooden figures like these are a staple of Thai craft markets. Each set is slightly different in its painting, so details will vary from the photo. Dust with a soft cloth and keep them out of damp.
