These figures are made from coconut shell and fiber and are sold in three styles: a chicken with a bright red face, a bird and a fluffy bird. The photos show the chicken standing on a curved clay roof tile beside a balancing pole, a brown bird in a bamboo frame, and a pale bird with bamboo tubes and a weight on a string.
Coconut is a part of daily life in Thailand, and village crafters turn the husk, shell and fiber into toys and ornaments that move in the breeze. The listing does not give sizes, so please look at the photos before choosing. Hang the birds indoors or in a covered spot on a porch.
