Face of Buddha Wall Decor, Red and Gold, Looking Right, 5 x 7 Inches

This plaque shows the Buddha's face looking to the right, finished in glossy red flecked with gold, with a crown of gold curls above. It measures 5 inches by 7 inches. The close-up photo shows narrow, downcast eyes, the nose and lips in raised form and a speckled surface. The listing does not name the material.

Red and gold are strong colors in Thai temples, where gilded surfaces catch the light. A small plaque like this works as a wall accent, a shelf piece or part of an altar corner. Place it high, as is the custom, and dust it with a dry cloth.

Naree includes it in her picks on Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
