Blue and Yellow Fish Mobile, Painted Wood, 24 Inches Tall

This mobile is about 24 inches long and is made of hand-painted solid wood fish in blue, with yellow and black stripes and fins. One large fish hangs at the top with ten or more smaller fish below, strung on clear monofilament line so they sit at different heights and turn in the air.

Fish are a common theme in Thai and Lao decor, where rice fields, ponds and rivers are part of everyday life. Fish are painted by hand, so each mobile differs slightly from the photos. Hang it from a hook on a covered porch or inside by a window, and dust it with a soft brush.

Naree chose it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
