Gold-Plated CZ Necklace, 18 Inches

An 18-inch necklace with a 1-inch pendant. The chain features small oval links in 5-micron gold plating and closes with a spring-ring clasp. Five microns is the thickness of the gold layer, not a karat mark and not solid gold.

The pendant is a shallow arc. Clear cubic zirconia stones are set along it in little flower clusters, and teardrop stones hang underneath, the longest at the center. Naree chose this one while shopping in Thailand. Plated chain and cubic zirconia, rather than solid gold and diamonds, are the sort of fashion necklace sold in those shops.

Keep the plate dry. Perfume, lotion, and a shower will thin a 5-micron layer. A soft cloth is enough to polish it.
