These hanging Thai wall fabrics, called toong, are woven in Thailand and measure about 11 inches wide. Choose red, green, yellow or blue. Hang one from a rod or string for a soft vertical accent on a wall, doorway or window.
In Thai and Lao homes a length of bright woven cloth is a simple way to mark a space for family gatherings or temple days. Naree includes these among her picks for Uniquely Thai Lao TV. The weave shows the hand of the maker, so color and texture vary slightly from piece to piece. Dust gently and avoid long direct sun.
