Hanging Wooden Bat Mobile with Outstretched Wings, 14 Inch Wingspan

This bat is made from wood and hangs with its wings spread to a 14-inch span. The body is a warm reddish brown, the ears stand upright and the thin wings taper to long points. Hang it from a hook of your own, and it will turn and drift in moving air.

Carved wooden animals hung as mobiles are a familiar sight in Thai and Lao craft shops, and a bat suits a porch beam, a window frame or a corner of a room. Dust it with a soft cloth, and keep it under cover so the wing tips stay dry and straight.

Naree chose it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
