Kapok Triangle Pillow with 3 Fold-Out Mats

A triangle cushion that opens into three thin mats. Folded, it is a backrest for sitting on the floor. Opened, the three panels lie flat for a short lounge or a guest pad. Each chamber is filled with kapok, the light fiber from the silk-cotton tree.

Thai houses used kapok in pillows and mattresses for generations. The fiber is buoyant and does not hold heat the way dense foam does, which is why it stayed in floor cushions long after cotton batting was common. Care

Spot-clean the cover. Do not machine-wash the filled piece; kapok clumps when it is soaked and spun. Air it in shade if it feels damp. Fluff the triangle by hand after it has been leaned on for a long stretch. Keep it dry. Kapok holds odor if it stays wet.
