Painted Wooden Cat Stretched Out, Red with Cream Patches, 8 Inches Long

This cat lies stretched out with its front paws reaching forward and its head lifted. It is carved from solid wood and hand painted in a reddish orange with cream patches and green eyes. It measures 8 inches long, a good size for a shelf, a desk or the arm of a chair.

Hand-painted wooden animals are a mainstay of Thai and Lao craft markets, where cats are familiar in homes and shops. It makes an easy gift for someone who loves cats. Dust with a dry cloth and keep it out of damp and strong sun so the paint keeps its color.

Naree picked it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
