Linen Napkin with Brown Floral Print, 18 x 18 Inches

This napkin is listed as linen and measures 18 inches by 18 inches. The photo shows a light cream ground printed in a brown floral and leaf design, with the repeats spread edge to edge, so it works at a dinner table as easily as in a lunch basket.

Block-printed and batik-style cloth with leaf and flower motifs has a long history in Southeast Asia, where it is used for sarongs, tablecloths and napkins. A cloth napkin like this one can be washed and reused again and again, which suits a table set with other Thai and Lao pieces.

Naree included it among her picks on Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
