Seashell Curtain with Seahorse Design, 30 x 45 Inches

This curtain hangs from a wooden rod on long vertical strings of seashells. It measures 30 inches wide and about 45 inches long. White shells form the shape of a seahorse in the center, and a patch of smaller colored shells sits to its left, with larger shells tied along the bottom edge. The listing says the shells come from the South Pacific.

Shell curtains are a coastal craft found around the Gulf of Thailand and across Southeast Asia, where shells are collected, drilled and strung by hand. It can hang in a doorway, over a window or on a bare wall. The strings may tangle in transit, so smooth them out and hang it where the breeze will move it gently.
