Long Face Tiki-Style Wall Mask, Multi-Color Hand Painted, 40 x 5.5 Inches

This tall, narrow mask is made for hanging on the wall. It is 40 inches long and 5.5 inches wide, with a long face painted in washed grays and blues, geometric patterns down the sides and a carved ridge for the nose. The mouth and chin at the bottom are a warm brown.

Carved and painted wooden masks have a long place in Southeast Asian performance and craft, and in Thailand and Laos they are also bought as wall art. A narrow shape like this fits beside a doorway or in a stairwell. Use a sturdy hook or two screws, and dust with a soft cloth.

Naree selected it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
