Mango Wood Vase with Carved Flower, Black and Red, 12 Inches Tall

This mango wood vase is 12 inches tall. A flared black top sits above a round middle carved with a cream flower, and the base flares out again in a glossy red. The shape is simple and contemporary, with the contrast of black and red giving it a lacquered look. It is meant for dried flowers and also looks good empty as a display piece, and the carved flower is easy to see from across a room.

Thai artisans turn mango wood into bowls, trays and vases, and a piece like this looks well on a table, console or windowsill. It is designed for dried arrangements, so keep it away from water. Wipe it with a dry cloth.
