The flowers are painted, and the painting is not the same on every color. On the white one the flowers are small, in red and yellow, with green stems. On the purple one the blossoms are larger and pink, on teal stems.
The old text calls the cloth cotton and the pole 22 inches of wood. The open photographs do not show the pole, and they do not name the cloth. The address still says 100 by 36. Painted parasols of this kind are a northern Thai craft. This page does not name the town. It is for shade and for display. Rain will mark the paint.
