Hand-Painted Parrot Mobile with Metal Wind Chimes, Red and Blue, 24 Inches Long

This hand-painted mobile is made of solid wood and is 24 inches long. A large red parrot leads the top, and a flock of smaller red and blue parrots hangs in a ring around a central set of metal wind chime tubes. Each bird is painted with bright red bodies and blue wings, with touches of yellow.

Parrots and other tropical birds are common in the forests of Thailand and Laos, and painted wooden mobiles are a long-time craft for porches and gardens. Hang it from a hook under cover so the tubes can ring in a breeze. Bring it in during storms and wipe the birds with a dry cloth.

Naree chose it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
