Red-Brown Buddha Face on Leaf Plaque with Black Stand, 14.5 x 23 Inches

This leaf-shaped plaque is carved with a Buddha face and is mounted on a slim black stand. It is 14.5 inches wide and 23 inches tall. The finish is a mottled red-brown with darker patches, the face is bronze-toned, and a rounded topknot rises from the head. The veins of the leaf are carved to spread out from the face.

The bodhi leaf is a favorite shape in Thai and Lao Buddhist art, and the deep red color gives this plaque a bold presence. It works on a table, a shelf or a sideboard. Dust it with a soft brush and keep it out of damp and strong direct sun so the finish stays even.

Naree chose it for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
