Carved Red Dog Sitting and Smiling, 4 Inches Tall

This small dog is carved from wood and painted a bright red-orange with a tan chest and belly. He sits upright with a smile and black whiskers marked on his muzzle. The listing gives the height as 4 inches, so he fits easily on a desk, a windowsill or a child's shelf.

Painted wood animals like this one are made by village craftspeople in Thailand and sold in markets as small gifts. Each one is painted by hand, so the face and the shade of red will differ a little from the photo. Dust him with a soft cloth and keep him out of damp places.
