Emerald Buddha in Spring Attire

This resin Buddha statue shows a meditative Buddha in green spring attire, inspired by Thailand's revered Emerald Buddha. It is offered in two sizes, 17 inches tall or 33 inches tall, and is handcrafted by Thanakrit Kanyaprasit.

At Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok, the robes of the Emerald Buddha are changed with the seasons, and this statue reflects that tradition with its fresh green robe. The resin is molded to show fine details in the flowing robes and the calm expression. The 17 inch size fits a shelf, altar or side table, while the 33 inch size makes a larger centerpiece for a shrine or meditation room.

Care: dust with a soft dry cloth or brush and keep the statue indoors, away from strong direct sun, to keep the color bright.
