Resin Emerald Buddha Style, Pink, 11 Inches

An 11-inch resin figure in the form of the Emerald Buddha (พระแก้วมรกต). He sits in meditation, legs crossed, hands in the lap, with a tall gold crown and a spire above the head. Gold chains and arm bands sit on a translucent pink body. The base is tiered gold with red bands and a small shield on the front.

The real Emerald Buddha is the palladium image in Wat Phra Kaew in Bangkok. Thai custom dresses the image in different robes for the hot season, the rains, and the cool season. This piece is a resin copy of that crowned, seated form. It is not jade, and it is not the temple image. The title lists pink and dark blue. The photo shows pink resin with gold.
