Hand-Finished Rooster Figure on Driftwood Log, 10 Inches Tall

This rooster is 10 inches tall and stands on a piece of driftwood. The figure is pressed from sawdust and resin, then airbrushed, and the listing calls it a synthetic likeness. The photos show gray-blue feathers with white edges, a bright red comb and wattle, and a tail lifted behind him.

Roosters are a familiar sight in Thai villages, where they roam village yards at dawn, and they appear in folk art, painted ceramics and carvings. This one is a decor piece for a shelf, mantle or kitchen counter. Wipe it with a soft cloth and keep it away from damp spots, since the base is natural wood.
