Solid Rosewood Pepper Grinder with Stainless Steel Grinder, 7 Inches Tall

This pepper grinder is made of solid rosewood with a stainless steel grinder inside, and it stands 7 inches tall. The tall body tapers out toward the base in a dark, streaked brown, and the turned top is a lighter reddish wood topped with a small metal knob. You twist the top to grind, and the shape is easy to hold in one hand.

Rosewood has long been used in Thailand for furniture and turned kitchen pieces because the wood is dense and takes a polish well. Use it at the table or by the stove for black pepper, and it also makes a good housewarming gift. Keep it away from the dishwasher and water, and rub it now and then with a little food-safe oil.

It is one of Naree's picks for Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
