Teak Room Screen, Six Panels

A folding screen of six panels. The wood is a warm gold; the listing calls it teak. Each panel is pierced with flowers and vines, and two lighter-colored birds stand in the openwork, one above the other. The birds have long necks and trailing tails. The title calls them peacocks. Hinges join the panels. Each panel ends in a pair of curved feet, with a row of scallops just above them. You can see through the carving.

The page lists the opened screen at 78 inches wide and 70 inches tall. The address still says 65.5 by 70. Neither figure is measured in the photographs. The product record lists 151 pounds. The old text places the carving in Thailand. The pictures do not show a mark of origin.

One screen. It needs floor space and a freight quote. Dust the openwork. Do not soak the wood.
