Miniature Green Wood Sofa with Painted Flowers, Toy Furniture

This miniature sofa is handcrafted from wood and painted a deep green. It has a rounded back, two curved arms and a wide seat with room for two small figures, and the whole piece is decorated with little orange and pink flowers and yellow dots. The paint is glossy, and the brush strokes show the work of a hand rather than a machine.

Small painted furniture like this is a favorite in Southeast Asian craft markets, where carvers turn scrap wood into toys and keepsakes. It pairs well with the shop's 4-inch wooden animals, so you can set up a little scene on a shelf, or add it to a dollhouse. Wipe it with a dry cloth and keep it away from water.
