Buddha Face on Bodhi Leaf Plaque with Wooden Stand, White, 9.5 x 15 Inches

This plaque is a carved Buddha face set on a leaf-shaped panel, listed at 9.5 inches wide and 15 inches tall. The finish is a pale cream white with soft gold-tan shading in the carving, and a slim black wooden stand holds it upright on a shelf or table, as the photos show.

The leaf is the bodhi leaf, a shape linked to the tree where the Buddha sat, and plaques like this are popular in Thai and Lao homes and shops. The listing says it is hand carved. Dust it with a soft cloth and keep it out of damp spots and direct sun, which can dull a pale finish.

Naree showed this one on Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
