Bamboo Wind Chimes, 18 Inches

These wind chimes are made from bamboo tubes of different lengths hung from a round wooden top, with a wooden striker and sail hanging in the middle. They are about 18 inches long, and the hollow tubes give a soft, woody tone rather than a bell-like ring.

The listing describes them as made by hand in remote villages in Thailand, where bamboo grows plentifully and craft work can be an important source of income for families. A set like this is easy to hang from a porch hook or a garden branch.

Naree picked them for Uniquely Thai Lao TV as a simple way to bring Thai village craft into a yard or entryway.
