Wooden Croaking Frog 4" Long

This handcrafted wooden croaking frog is 4 inches long, a smaller version of the classic rasp guiro percussion instrument. Glide the included stick along the ridges on its back to make a distinctive croaking sound. It is carved from solid wood in Thailand by Thanakrit Kanyaprasit, with natural wood tones from warm honey to deep brown.

Frog calls are a familiar sound in the rice fields of Thailand and Laos, and these little instruments bring that sound indoors. The small size is perfect for young hands, stocking stuffers, classroom music and party favors, and it also makes a playful decoration on a shelf or desk.

Care: keep it dry and dust with a soft cloth. Because each frog is carved by hand, the grain and shading vary from piece to piece.
