Wooden Pen with Carved Dog Head, 8 Inches Long

This wooden pen is 8 inches long, and its top end is carved into the head of a dog with a long drooping ear. The shaft is smooth reddish wood that tapers toward a small pen tip, which you can see at the bottom of the first photo. The listing gives no details about the ink or refill, so please think of it as a novelty pen and keep a spare.

Wood carving is a village trade in Thailand, and small animals like this one are made for markets and gift shops. It fits in a pen cup or a stocking and makes a light gift for someone who loves dogs. Wipe it with a dry cloth.

Naree added it to the small gifts she shows on Uniquely Thai Lao TV.
