Painted Wooden Rooster, Red, Teal and Purple, 5.5 Inches Tall

This rooster is carved from wood, painted by hand and stands 5.5 inches tall. The comb and head are bright red with a yellow beak, the body is streaked in red, purple and gold, and the tail feathers sweep up in teal and black. The colors are glossy and strong in the photo.

Roosters are painted and carved all over Thailand, where they are a common sight in village yards and a favorite subject for folk toys. This size is right for a shelf, a kitchen window or a desk. Each one is painted by hand, so the color pattern will differ from the picture. Dust it with a soft cloth.
