Wooden Turtle Puppet with Jointed Limbs, 12 Inches

This wooden turtle is painted green, with a yellow shell marked by green lines and a face with round eyes. It is listed at 3 inches wide, 3 inches deep and 12 inches tall. The arms and legs are separate wooden pieces that swing, so he dangles with his legs hanging down.

Turtles stand for a long life in many parts of Asia, and jointed wooden figures like this are an inexpensive craft sold in Thai markets. The listing does not describe the strings, so look at the photo. It makes a cheerful shelf piece for a child's room. Wipe the paint with a dry cloth.
